Muhammed Rudman is the pioneer CEO of the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN), Nigeria's first and only neutral IXP. A seasoned ICT professional with over 20 years of extensive experience in network design, implementation, optimization, and management. Rudman worked in technical and management roles for numerous firms before joining IXPN.

He is a member of several professional organizations both within and outside of Nigeria and has made significant contributions to the development of the country's ICT sector.

He presently serves as Vice President of the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) and as Chairman of the Nigeria IPv6 Council, a branch of the global IPv6 Forum. Rudman is also a board member of the African Internet Exchange Points Association (AF-IX).

Rudman served as the Executive President of the Nigerian Internet Registration Association (NiRA) from 2019 to 2023. NiRA is the administrator of the .ng ccTLD (country code Top Level Domain) on behalf of Nigeria.

He has served on a number of strategic and policy-making committees across the country. Rudman served on the Presidential Committee on the National Broadband Plan 2020-2025 and the Committee to Review National Cybersecurity Policy and Strategy 2021. He was recognized as one of the 100 Leading Telecom & ICT Personalities in Nigeria in 2018 by ATCON (Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria).

Mrs Zubaida M Rasheed Is the Chief Executive of Officer, of Zaiydah Haleem Resources Limited. A private company involved Training Programs and consultancy.

I hold a degree in Economics from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. I worked in NITEL for 23 years rising to the position of Chief Marketing Officer in 2006, where I gained significant experience in Corporate strategic Management of human and Material resources for organisational success.

I was responsible for the overall Marketing effort during the Pentascope Management Contractors and after the privatisation. I left in 2008 to pursue my private business.

A strong managerial background with senior level management exposure. Good strategic appreciation and vision, able to build and implement plans supporting business needs. Sets targets and lead by example, collaborative approach with good interpersonal skills.

Analytical thinker who can recognise trends and opportunities and plan/execute action to exploit business opportunities.

Member of several boards including Nigeria Internet Exchange Point (NIXP), Isa Wali Empowerment Initiative (IWEI), Iman Nai’ibi Wali Educational Foundation (INWEF), Africa Prudential Plc, a leading provider of share registration services and capital market solutions.

Sunday Folayan holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Ilorin. He is an Internet Protocol Network Engineer, Cybersecurity Expert, Trainer and Data Wrangler. He was appointed to the Board of IXPN in 2007. He is the Chief Executive Officer of General Data Engineering Services, also known as SKANNET. He was one of the promoters of the Ibadan Internet Exchange point (IBIX), the first exchange point in Nigeria.

He is a member of the Nigeria Cybercrime Advisory Council and the Co-convenor of the Nigeria Network Operators Group (NgNOG). He has served in the past as the Chairman of the AfriNIC, President of NIRA, Board Member of NITDA, and a member of the Interim At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) of ICANN. He is a Priest in the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion.

A graduate of Electronics & Communications Engineering from Kano State Polytechnic in 1983 and Kaduna Polytechnic in 1987. Joined the services of Nigerian External Telecommunications (NET) in 1983 and Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) in 1984.

Worked with Honourable Minister of Communications as Special Assistant (Technical) from 1994 to 1995. Rose through the ranks in NITEL up to the position of Deputy General Manager in charge of all projects from 2002 to 2006.

Joined the services of Multi-Links Telecommunications Limited as General Manager (Technical Operations Abuja). Deployed, Operated and Maintained the Abuja Networks from 2006 to 2007.

Transferred to Lagos after Telekom South Africa toke over Multi-Links Telecommunications Limited and held positions as Executive Service Management & Operations, Executive Programme Management Office (Network Roll out), Executive Network Projects Implementation and Regional Executive Northern from 2007 to 2010.

Obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Nasarawa State University Keffi in 2012.

Aminu Tijjani’s career in telecoms spans more than 3 decades. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Clear Clouds Communications Limited Network infrastructure implementation and maintenance company.

Registered with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and attended professional courses with Siemens and Huawei.

Yen Choi

Yen has been a director of IXPN since 2007. He is the chair of the technical committee. Yen has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, IT, media and software development. He is currently the Group Chief Technical Officer and Executive Vice President Netcom Africa since 2003, Nigeria’s most prominent Enterprise Network and Managed Services provider. Previously Yen was the Vice President of operations of Speedcast, a global satellite communications company. He is an active board member and advisor to several technology companies globally.

Yen has an MBA with specialization in finance and accounting from the University of Liverpool.
